Veronica Adane ft. Rayvanny – Bironica

Veronica Adane and Rayvanny have joined forces on “Bironica,” a fresh East African crossover that landed this week and is already circulating widely online.

Veronica Adane is an Ethiopian pop vocalist with a catalog that includes the 2024 project “Meteriyaye” and singles such as “Enaney” and “Abebaye.” Rayvanny is a Tanzanian Bongo Flava star, best known for “Tetema,” his hit with Diamond Platnumz. Putting the two together makes for a natural meeting of Addis Ababa and Dar es Salaam.

“Bironica” is built around Ethiopian melodic phrasing and Tanzanian pop rhythms, with elements of Wolaita culture woven in. It plays as a love letter in song form. Samson Adele (Sami Go) and Rayvanny are credited as writers, Gildo Kassa handled the arrangement, and Dawit Tsegaye (DaDa) produced, with Veronica Adane serving as executive producer. Yosef Baye directed the video for 16 Production.

The song is trending because of the collaboration itself and the rollout around it. Veronica Adane announced the release to fans ahead of time, TikTok clips began circulating, and the official video has already shown up on a YouTube trending tracker. The cross-border pairing and the cultural detail give people plenty to talk about.

MusicPorta says: The strength of “Bironica” is how comfortably two musical worlds share one space. Veronica Adane brings melodic grace rooted in Ethiopian pop, Rayvanny adds the rhythmic confidence of Bongo Flava, and the production keeps both voices front and center. It is a thoughtful, warm and culturally proud record that deserves attention across the continent and beyond.
