Mr Eazi ft. MOLIY – Comfort

Mr Eazi is back with “Comfort,” a breezy new single with Ghanaian-American singer MOLIY that arrived on October 2, 2026.

Mr Eazi is the Nigerian Afropop artist who coined the term Banku Music for his blend of Nigerian melodies, Ghanaian influences and Pidgin storytelling. “Comfort” returns to that signature lane, with a relaxed, mid-tempo feel that suits his easy delivery.

Produced by Ragee, the song sits where Afrobeats, dancehall, hip-hop and R&B overlap. A bouncy rhythm and a bubbly synth bassline drive it along, and Mr Eazi’s calm voice plays against MOLIY’s brighter tone. The theme is romantic closeness and reassurance. The song came out through emPawa Africa, and the official video leans on retro-inspired summer styling.

A few things explain the attention. MOLIY is the voice behind “Shake It to the Max (FLY),” whose remix passed one billion streams earlier this year. TikTok snippets of “Comfort” built anticipation before the drop. The song also fits Mr Eazi’s busy run of releases in 2026, and the Ghana and Nigeria link adds extra meaning for fans in both countries.

MusicPorta says: “Comfort” is a lesson in restraint. Ragee keeps the groove light and inviting, the synth line sticks in the ear, and the vocal chemistry between Mr Eazi’s laid-back phrasing and MOLIY’s sweeter delivery does the rest. It is smooth, polished and confident, which is exactly what a Banku Music record should be.
